There’s a surprise waiting for those who wish to visit Sta. Rosa, Laguna this season, or any time after that. Ayala Land has further amped the entertainment and leisure value of their masterplanned development, Nuvali, and you shouldn’t miss it. What used to be a small lifestyle strip offering a few chosen restaurants for those looking for a pitstop while on their way back to Manila from Tagaytay has now become a destination on its own. Thanks to a well-planned development in both residential, business, and leisure aspects, Nuvali is now Ayala’s most exciting project to watch out for. There’s more happening in the 2,290 hectare development, most of which are geared toward the family, and in promoting the “green” lifestyle that puts a premium not only on the environment, but the overall wellbeing of their residents, tenants, and the throngs of visitors attracted by Nuvali’s vibrant atmosphere.
Although geared toward a dynamic mix of homes, offices, and entertainment areas, the front end of Nuvali will always be its lifestyle centers. The first and second phases of the project offer a number of destination restaurants and chosen outlet stores that have been a signature of Sta. Rosa’s retail personality. Then there are the signature attractions: The Taxi Boat ride, the biking around the lake and tree-lined areas, and the fish feeding in Solenad, which has been a favorite of many visitors.
The next phase includes the grand opening of Solenad 3, a sprawling mall area that is a big surprise for those who frequent the place.
Solenad 3 opens to a beautiful 800-square-meter activity park, a fully-packed outdoor playground, and pocket gardens. Its cinema wing, featuring four movie halls, has just opened, boasting of a special cinema with Lazy Boy seats, where viewers can charge their gadgets while watching.
Solenad boasts of over 40,000 square meters of retail space. When completed, it will offer over 200 shopping, dining, and entertainment options, making it the primary go-to leisure destination for residents in Laguna, Tagaytay, Batangas, and Muntinlupa.
More destination restaurants have opened since its soft launch in November, such as Charlemagne’s Bistro, an Asian-European fusion restaurant which is a brainchild of Charlemagne Lim who brought us the former Asian powerhouse Little Asia on Tomas Morato a few years ago.
S&R Membership shopping just opened its 12,000-square-meter branch in Nuvali, and offers another option for those who wish to shop for great deal items.
“Nuvali was envisioned as a harmonious and creative space where a lifestyle of responsibility and sustainability is well-balanced. Nuvali commits to this vision by integrating a mix of land uses and showcasing it through Ayala Land’s expertise in revolutionary sustainable development that allows for economic prosperity, community-building, and flourishing lives within an ecologically sound environment,” said John Estacio, Nuvali general manager.
And for quick getaway options, Seda Hotel in Nuvali is the perfect haven for a staycation. This lifestyle hotel pretty much sums up the kind of comfort that Ayala’s eco-city has to offer: Sophisticated, functional, and green. The 150-room hotel combines style, space, and function in a standout structure that not only offers a resort atmosphere, but the most stunning view of Nuvali.
Rooms (Deluxe, Club Rooms, and Premiere) are stocked for business and family comfort: Plush beds, 40-inch LED TV, a mini bar, coffee and tea-making facilities, and Belgian chocolates at the start of your stay. The hotel restaurant, Misto, offers a medley of international dishes that you can also enjoy al fresco by the poolside. For more vigorous activities, the gym, playroom, and the luxurious pool will be a hit for the young and young at heart.
